Rehearsals are now well under way for this year’s panto – a special Whitwell rendering of The Owl and the Pussycat, written by our very own Barney Wells. Save the dates of 6-7 December, or even get into the spirit and buy your tickets already for £9 adults/£5 under-16s from ticketsource.co.uk/whitwellplayers
We have also been looking ahead to next year, which is set to be full of very special offerings, as it marks our centenary! First up, save the dates of 21-22 March for our One Acts, including a gala dinner on the Saturday. Then, come autumn, there will be a family-friendly production at the church.

As well as performers and directors, we are always on the look-out for people who want to get involved backstage, whether set design and build, sound, lighting, or stage management. We also need people with promotional and organisational skills on the production side, and people front of house.
